Augustus Pugin
St Hubert Brocatelle Blue Gold
Product Code: LF8259
From
£268.00 per metreSir John Ninian Comper (10 June 1864 – 22 December 1960) was a Scottish-born architect and arguably the last of the great Gothic Revival architects. Comper, who was undoubtably influenced by Pugin, was noted for his churches and their furnishings. In his work he espoused a subtle integration of Classical and Gothic elements which he described as unity by inclusion. This design is taken from a Dutch painting of St Hubert, and is woven using the finest Japanese gold metallic yarn.
