Nottingham Lace Fabric
Welcome to our exclusive collection of traditional Nottingham Lace made by the ninth generation of a family business, who have been making lace since the 1760s.
This lace closely imitates some handmade-lace designs, and the construction is as close to handmade lace as a machine can do, using cotton instead of linen or silk.
This fabulous traditional lace is made on a unique machine, actually two combined in one: a wide machine invented in 1813, which twists the threads to form a net, and a jacquard machine, adding pattern, turning a basic net into exquisite lace.
For traditional Nottingham lace, there is nothing finer in the world than this collection.
