Burghley is a handsome woven floral jacquard with the character of a traditional English furnishing fabric. Its large-scale design combines scrolling leaves, flowers and foliage, drawing inspiration from historic woven damasks.

The pattern is woven directly into the cloth rather than printed, giving the fabric depth and texture and allowing the design to catch the light beautifully. Particularly effective for full-length curtains and loose sofa covers (being washable), Burghley is also suitable for blinds, cushions and other soft furnishings.

With its generous floral scale and restrained colouring, Burghley works especially well in period properties, country houses and traditional interiors, while remaining versatile enough for more contemporary schemes.
