Reproduction of a design for a tablecloth by the famous American textile designer, Marguerita Mergentime, in 1937. Mergentime's designs were way ahead of her time, and laid the foundations for much of what is now seen as modernism and 'mid-century'. Working in 1930s New York, she became well known for her striking table cloths and napkins, with her hallmark bright and bold use of colours. Now reproduced as a high quality cotton linen fabric suitable for upholstery or curtain use, or to make your own Mergentime table cloth. This product is a modern reproduction of a historic design and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any contemporary trademark holder. NOT FOR SALE TO CUSTOMERS BASED IN THE USA.
