Design for a tablecloth by the famous American textile designer, Marguerita Mergentime, in 1934. Mergentime's avant garde designs were way ahead of her time, and laid the foundations for much of what is now seen as modernism and 'mid-century'. Working in 1930s New York, she became well known for her striking table cloths and napkins, with her hallmark bright and bold use of colours. Digitally printed at a smaller scale than the fabric as a 45cm x 45cm cushion, with synthetic filler. Cover has invisible zip and is printed with Oeke-tex accblueited eco-friendly inks in London ... just for you.
